“The Egg” birdhouse is a bird-friendly laser-cut design without paint, stains, or glue of any kind. This is an untreated cedar wood product that will weather naturally with age. Please note that cedar planks can vary by colour, grain, curvature, and other natural details like knots or splits. The houses purposely retain the rough unfinished plank side for the interiors as this provides a more natural home for the birds.

Houses are made to order. Pole mounting with a predator guard is recommended as it is the safest option for young birds (pole and protection not included).

House cavity for this house is appropriate for: Bewick’s Wrens & Black-capped, Mountain, Boreal, Chestnut-backed, and Carolina Chickadees;

The entrance hole size is 1 1/8” (29mm) for all chickadees and Bewick’s Wren.
